Brief History

  Founded in August 1, 1988, first principal, Lin, Xinxian, the mayor, Lin, Wenxiong and head of Parents Association, Chen, Jiazhao and other members in PA and the community all committed themselves into giving the students and Dagang community a promising campus. 

  To run the school successfully, many easy-to-use facilities with modern layout such as Computer Network Center, TANet, Audio-Visual Center and Student Union started to show their maximum functions .  In 1990s, Dagang received many excellent awards in the following aspects from Taiwan MOE.

• Excellent in Life Education of Tainan City
• Cooperative Learning Education
• Lunch Supply

  In terms of students’ activities, soft tennis team represents Taiwan twice to compete in Japan with those from other countries and receives second prize in teenager soft tennis contest.  Besides, Chinese calligraphy, fine arts, roller skating, Chinese martial art, dancing and teeth-cleaning all have good performance in different contests.
